Who Made My Scarf?

We believe that a truly luxury product should be created in a safe, ethical, loving and sustainable environment.

Empowering women and supporting a new generation of female artisans.

We take pride in providing training programs, comfortable and safe work conditions for our artisans. Our artisans go through a rigorous training program and those who develop a passion for the craft stay on to join our team and build their artistic skills, helping us bring to life a craft that has been enlisted in the World's Intangible heritage by UNESCO.

Every kelagayi is handmade in our atelier by a new generation of female artisans.

SAIDA

A creative soul, Saida dreamt of becoming a painter. Working with her hands as an artisan is an expression of her creativity, and fulfills this artistic urge. Saida has tried herself in several jobs, in her village including baking. She bakes the team delicious cakes around the holidays.

Regular income helps Saida save up. Saida and her husband are using this money to build their own house.

GULNAR

This is Gulnar's first job. Due to medical mishandling, Gulnar has physical limitations. Sedentary nature of artisanal work allows Gulnar to work, while saving money for her surgery.

Being a short walking distance from home, allows her to work without having to commute. Gulnar never stops dreaming and considers working at the atelier her biggest chance in life. Gulnar is very passionate about the craft. She is so meticulous in her creations and mothers each design as if each scarf is her child.
