НАСЛЕДИЕ И РЕМЕСЛО

Every year we develop a new collection inspired by Azerbaijan’s rich heritage.

Our scarves come in limited quantities and sometimes we are unable to repeat a pattern, making the scarf completely unique.

Kelagayi making is well-known ancient heritage craft. They are made by placing patterns imprinted in wooden or metal stamps on the silk with dipped in hot wax.

Scarves are then immersed in cool dye baths to absorb color. Getting the color right is a meticulous and labor-intensive process. For each additional color, scarves are immersed in a new bath. Becoming a “boyagchi” or colorist is considered to be a prestigious role for an artisan.
