Illustrated with Esfand Seeds, known as “uzerlik” in Azerbaijan, this kelagayi is perfect to wear everyday as a stylish accessory and as an amulet.

With a mission to preserve national heritage crafts, this silk scarf has been handmade using a technique recognized by UNESCO as part of the world's intangible heritage.

The fine metal and wood work on our made-to-order stamps require that our in-house artisans hone their skills to manage the complexity of each illustration, to preserve the fragility of each element.

This print was inspired by the protective symbols found on the Silk Road.

      About Product

Illustrated with repeated pattern of Esfand Seeds ('uzerlik') for spiritual cleansing and good fortune. Revered for their spiritual cleansing properties, these seeds are traditionally burned to ward off evil through their popping sounds and purifying smoke. This scarf embodies the protective and fortuitous essence of the Esfand ritual, promising to bring happiness, luck, health, and good fortune to its wearer.

      How to Clean

For the best care, always opt for dry cleaning. If you must wash it at home, gently hand wash using cold water and a specialty detergent. Avoid soaking; simply swirl and press out excess water without wringing. Allow your scarf to air dry, keeping it away from prolonged sunlight exposure to prevent fading. Store in a cool, dry place, either folded, rolled, or on a hanger. If needed, use a steam press on a low setting or a cool iron to remove creases, handling delicately to protect the fibers.
